The pandemic has caused many disruptions to learning over the past couple of years. This has impacted every student. While students were learning remotely, many IEPs were adjusted to allow for services to continue, but implemented differently, as services providers were not meeting with students in-person. In some instances, time may have been reduced, goals may have been modified, and priority goals established. This was intended to be temporary, while students were learning remotely. Now that schools have students attending in-person, the IEP should be fully implemented. Students are entitled to the services outlined. If you have questions or concerns regarding your child’s IEP or services, please reach out. We would be happy to help.
